The following pre-requisites are required:

• Connect the NFC reader to the POS android device if an external reader is used. Otherwise the Wristband can be scanned directly on the internal NFC reader on the POS device.

• The NFC reader will display a red light indicating that it is active. This means that the POS has detected the device.

  

The following steps will guide cashiers in setting up wristbands

1. From the Menu bar, select Wristband Management

2. A Wristband Management screen will be displayed

3. To scan the wristband, place the Wristband on the NFC reader (the light indicator will turn green if an external NFC reader is used).

4. Two tabs can be seen on the screen, the first is the Details tab and the second is the Balance tab. By default, the screen displaying the details of the wristband will be shown.

   

5. The details to be assigned are optional. However, it is a good practice to assign the following details: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone number so that customers can identify what wristbands have been given to them.

6. Indicate the expiry date of the wristband usage. This is also an optional field.

7. Select CONFIRM, otherwise select CANCEL.
