Time slots are set up in order to manage the number of orders that can be made available for each minutes interval. This is mostly used for effective management of customers’ orders. Time slots are available on the PoS and are also effective for delivery, pickup or Eat-in orders made through end-users applications (mobile applications).

It is possible to set the following for each day

• Slot length in minutes: This is the total number of minutes for every slot. For instance, a slot length can be 15 minutes or 30 minutes.
• Slot lead time in minutes
• Slot fadeout in mutes
• Slot maximum count: This is the number of orders available for a slot length. For example, a restaurant can set their slot length to be every 15 minutes from the time they are open. Hence, from 7:00-7:15, the maximum orders the restaurant can accept for delivery/pickup will be for instance 7 orders. Also, from 7:15-7:30, the restaurant can accept another 7 orders.

To set up time slots for each day of the week do the following:

1. Setup the site weekly opening hours. This has been explained under site opening hours.

2. Double-click inside any of the weekdays to configure the time slots.

   

3. A pop-up window will be displayed, fill the appropriate fields.

4. Click SAVE.

Tips: Each weekday can have different time slots configurations.

Note: If no time slot count is configured for a particular day of the week, the timeslot will not be available for that day of the week. For example, if no time slot is configured for Saturday, Saturday would not be available for selection.
