The following will guide you in setting up the Epson TM-T20III printer for ethernet mode and USB mode.
Connect the printer to a power supply
Ensure that there is paper loaded in the printer
Simultaneously press the power button and the Feed Button which is the black round button indicated in the image below
A printout will be made indicating information about the printer
Press the round black button for about 3 seconds, another printout titled Mode Selection will be printed
The mode selection printout will guide in setting the printer to either USB mode or Ethernet mode. For this guide, the Ethernet mode will be selected
Select 3: Customize Value Settings, to do this Press the Feed button 4 times
Customize Value settings will be printed out
Select mode 2: Interface Settings, to do this press the Feed button 3 times
Interface Settings modes will be printed out
Select 14: Interface Selection, to do this press the Feed button 15 times
Modes settings for the interface selection will be printed out
Select the configuration required
For instance, if Ethernet mode is required, Ethernet will be selected, saved and a printout will be made.
You can turn off the printer or press the Feed button once to go back to the previous menu until the word completed is printed out.
Important Tip: After configuration, the printer should be connected to the network where it is to be used. The printer will print out an information with the following details:
