The following will guide you in setting up the Epson TM-T20III printer for ethernet mode and USB mode.

  1. Connect the printer to a power supply

  2. Ensure that there is paper loaded in the printer

  3. Simultaneously press the power button and the Feed Button which is the black round button indicated in the image below

  4. A printout will be made indicating information about the printer

  5. Press the round black button for about 3 seconds, another printout titled Mode Selection will be printed

  6. The mode selection printout will guide in setting the printer to either USB mode or Ethernet mode. For this guide, the Ethernet mode will be selected

  7. Select 3: Customize Value Settings, to do this Press the Feed button 4 times

  8. Customize Value settings will be printed out

  9. Select mode 2: Interface Settings, to do this press the Feed button 3 times

  10. Interface Settings modes will be printed out

  11. Select 14: Interface Selection, to do this press the Feed button 15 times

  12. Modes settings for the interface selection will be printed out

  13. Select the configuration required

    1. For USB, select 2: Built-in USB. To do this press the Feed button 3 times
    2. For Ethernet, select 3: Ethernet. To do this press the Feed button 4 times
  14. For instance, if Ethernet mode is required, Ethernet will be selected, saved and a printout will be made.

  15. You can turn off the printer or press the Feed button once to go back to the previous menu until the word completed is printed out.
