The steps below will enable users to SET the cash register balance to a particular amount.

  1. From the menu bar, select Cash Register.

  2. In the Enter Amount textbox, type out the amount you want to place in the cash register. Use the numbers displayed on the screen.

  3. Select SET.

  4. The cash register box will open automatically and the user can add the cash to the cash register.

  5. A pop-up window will ask users to confirm that the specific amount is to be set.

  6. If the user is certain that the amount is correct or the action is right, the user can tap on CONFIRM.

  7. If the user needs to edit the amount or cancel the action, then the user needs to tap on CANCEL.

  8. The user can verify if the action was successful by viewing the current cash total.

Tips: In setting the cash register balance, the previous balance will be deleted or canceled and the new balance will be shown in the current cash total. Hence it is important to know the difference between setting the cash register and adding cash to the cash register.
